Flo Holycross

May 31, 2008

Flo, was a true blessing to me and our family. We are so thankful to have had her a part of our lives. She was a wonderful woman of God and she lived faithfully for Him. Both her and her husband, Harry, Were such a blessing to me and our family. Just as an example , when I was young they would get myself and my  brother Daniel and Sister Angie our school supplies. Even when we moved from their church they continued to do so. Often times they would get us a school outfit, New shoes, Backpack, and pencils and such. Both Harry and Flo support us as missionaries. And we are so greatful. God has used them in our lives, May He continue that Blessing we have received to others we know.

Matt. 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they should see your good works, and glorify your Father in Heaven.

Fishing with Dad…

May 30, 2008

We really had fun. No wind, peaceful sunset, and fish… slow but fish. I ended up with 8 bluegill and a 14 inch bass… It was way cool because I caught a little fish on a wax worm then I rehooked him and sent him back in and wamoh there she was. It was way cool. Also went to Beckys house seen a turkey and three deer too. I have had an awsome time at my parents. It will be hard to leave.

To my sisters…

May 29, 2008

Becky lives near Mom and Dad… Ok almost an hour away. Her and my brother-n-law,Don,  with nephew Keagan are living in Ithica Mi. They just moved into a home and are excited about us comming over to see the house.  The house has needed alot of repairs. But it has been a good learning experiance for them in learning how to do things… as well as get along.  We cleaned out the car yesterday, and we only have one more day to walk as we have already walked two this week. We watched a documentary on fast food in America. The guy ate McDonalds for a month, morning noon and night. He ended up hurting his body for the temp… and long term challenged his liver, heart, weight, sugar. Ect.

Hannah to the petting zoo

May 29, 2008

We went today to Anderson Girls, a petting zoo here near Mom and Dad. There were goats, donkeys, camels, zebras, saboos, raindeer, chickens, sheep, hogs, peacocks, bunnys, and ducks. It was fun to watch her excitement. It was cool!

Yesterday

May 28, 2008

Didn’t catch any fish. Oh well I saw one biggie to bad he wasn’t hungry. Saw two beautiful swans and a dead buck. I have enjoyed being at my parents house between services. I am amazed as I have not seen gas under 4 dollars for just over a week. That is challenging as we do ALOT of traveling. Chicago was 4.20… and it is 4.17 here in MI. Anyway, everyone complains about the gas so I shall switch subjects. I was just thinking about us. We are so blessed to be missionaries. Had we not we would have never seen the sites that we have seen. We recently went to the zoo and saw all kinds of animals. One that stood out was a lion who roared. I thought that would be very exciting, as it was in the zoo, to see it in the wild. Then I got to thinking about the animals we saw in Bolivia and on the Border. Tuccans, monkeys, Parrots,  to name a few. And the people, freinds around the country, Several out of states. We are so Blessed.

Thanks God for asking me to go. I appreciate the opprotunity to share your love where I am.

So excited…

May 27, 2008

After a dry spell consering support. We were informed by an individual that they will begin supporting us in June. We praise God as it is the first supporter that has decided to join our ministry since returning from the field. Also excited because went fishing with Dad yesterday caught 6 fish, I caught the first4 Dad caught the last two. Dad caught a catfish about 13 inches long. So I get the metal for the first fish, Dad gets the metal for the last and largest. Way cool!

We caught 180 fish at Grandma’s lake

May 26, 2008

Took me 4 hours to clean them all. We caught one catfish, 3 perch, 2 bass, 1 trout, and lots and lots of bluegill and sunfish. IT was AWSOME as we used minnows, crawlers, and wax worms.

Hannah and Ice cream

May 26, 2008

Hannah was asleep on some of our miles and she we put her in her seat… upon hitting the seat she kept her eyes closed and squinted smiled and pointed out and said, I want Ice Cream… and then fell promptly to sleep. Nice dream to have I guess :)
